The Training Path: From Sincere Calling to Responsible Practice

1

Step One: Clergy Formation & Spiritual Grounding

Deepen your understanding, commitment, and readiness for clergy service

Your journey begins with the Singularism Clergy Training Course. This foundational step is for individuals who have taken the time to understand Singularism’s beliefs, ethical principles, and spiritual orientation—and who feel genuinely called to serve as clergy within this tradition. The course supports you in deepening your theological understanding, clarifying your values, and developing the emotional and ethical grounding needed to hold responsibility for others. It is a space for reflection, alignment, and preparation, ensuring you step forward with sincerity, humility, and confidence in your role as clergy.

2

Step Two: Psilocybin Macro-Dosing & Therapeutic Frameworks

Foundational training for those sincerely called to Singularism clergy service

Once you’ve completed clergy formation, you move into the Macro-Dosing Course. This phase focuses on the practical foundations of working with psilocybin in a safe, ethical, and spiritually respectful way. You’ll learn how to thoughtfully screen participants, prepare clients for sessions, structure meaningful experiences, and guide integration afterward. The course emphasizes balancing spiritual insight with evidence-based therapeutic frameworks, helping you feel grounded and prepared rather than overwhelmed. This step is about understanding how to hold psilocybin work responsibly and with care.

3

Step Three: Supervised Practicum & Collaborative Practice

Turn learning into lived practice with guidance and support

The practicum is where knowledge becomes embodied experience. In this stage, you’ll participate in supervised psilocybin facilitation alongside experienced mentors and a collaborative peer community. This supportive environment allows you to practice, receive feedback, ask questions, and grow through real-world application.
  • Practitioners with a Master’s degree, PhD, or MD in a related field complete three supervised practice rounds, honoring their prior professional training.
  • Practitioners who are coaches or clergy from other organizations complete ten supervised rounds, allowing ample time to build confidence and experiential depth.
This step is designed to help you integrate skills gradually and thoughtfully, so you feel prepared, supported, and aligned as you step into practice.

4

Step Four: Stay Involved with Ongoing Learning & Practitioner Development

Continue refining your skills and staying connected to best practices

After completing the program, you’ll have ongoing opportunities to refresh and deepen your practitioner skills through eight hours of continuing education each year, available online. These sessions are designed to support your growth over time—offering updates in safety practices, evolving research, ethical reflection, and advanced facilitation insights. This continued learning helps you stay confident, current, and connected as both the field and your own practice evolve.
